GUSTIN – A DENIM LOVERS BUFFET

I’ve been intrigued with Gustin for a couple of years now. They offer tons of denim options at a very affordable price. So for a denim collector like myself, I found this very exciting. The first thought I had is, How good is the quality? Well the day has come! Today I have the pleasure of reviewing two pieces from Gustin, but first a little information on the brand.

The company started in 2005 when Josh [Gustin] was selling jeans on his own to boutique shops in SF, LA and NYC. In 2013 Gustin transitioned to a direct-to-consumer crowd funded model, with the launch of their first Kickstarter campaign. They have never looked back since.

This business model allows Gustin to offer an incredible amount of denim options, from Cone Mills in the US, to Japanese denim from Nihon Menpu, Kuroki, Kaihara, Collect and Kurabo. To the best of my knowledge they’ve offered more types of denim than any other brand, at a price only matched only buy a few others in the world. All of this world class denim is sewn into jeans in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Here are my reviews of two Gustin pieces:
