I came across Hide Designes at the Melrose Trading Post on a hot Sunday afternoon. I was looking for denim, which I didn’t find much of besides your standard, swap meet pile of Levis. Instead I meet Kellen Fink the hands behind Hide Designs from Ventura, CA. He showed me his line of custom made belts and wallets, all at a very reasonable price. I opted for a custom Denim Hound belt, passport wallet and card holder. Solid craftsmanship with a “rough around the edges” aesthetic and nice leather. It all added up to a very raw and masculine addition to my denim line up.
