FIRST IMPRESSIONS: This is probably the most comfortable denim I have ever worn. The one wash makes these soft as sweatpants on the first wear. The cropped fit gives this jacket a stylish silhouette that gives your outfit a pinch of cool. This jacket works well with high or mid rise jeans but because of the high cropping, to me it does not look right with lo rise cuts. Keeps you warm down to about 60˚ F, anything under you may want to layer something warm under.
One thing I really like about secret denim Oni pieces is that the denim is such a loose weave that the thinner stitching threads sink and disappear into the denim in certain places here and there. On this jacket it works really well, making the pocket stitching more subdued then most denim jackets with contrast stitching. A nice middle ground between contrast and tonal stitching.
